The Wadduwa Traders and Industrialists Association, under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Buddhika Gunawardana, extended its deepest condolences on the passing of Most Venerable Wadduwa Dhammawansa Thero, a highly respected religious leader and spiritual guide in the Wadduwa area.
Recognizing the Thero’s invaluable service to the Sasana and his immense contribution to uplifting the spiritual and social wellbeing of the community, the Association joined in paying final respects during the funeral ceremonies held at the temple premises.
As a gesture of solidarity and gratitude, the Association sponsored a funeral tent facility worth Rs. 45,000, ensuring that devotees and the general public who gathered to pay homage were provided with appropriate arrangements throughout the ceremony.
The Wadduwa Traders and Industrialists Association humbly joins the entire community in paying respect to the late Thero and wishes that his noble journey in the Dhamma may continue towards the attainment of supreme bliss of Nibbana.
